After a successful career as in-house counsel for major American corporations, Wilka Varela Toppins founded her own business law practice in 2003. Her goal was to use her Spanish language skills and her awareness of the Latino culture to help American companies and businesses who are expanding into Latin America, Mexico, and Puerto Rico with business legal issues. Today, our Houston law office handles a wide range of transactions and commercial disputes for clients conducting business on both sides of the Rio Grande and throughout the Spanish-speaking world. We serve multinational corporations and foreign companies who require fully bilingual business attorneys. The Houston firm has offices in Mexico and Puerto Rico.
